SmallHD Indie 7 issues

Anyone had success getting video via HDMI out of the ZR, Z9, Zf to a Small HD Indie 7? I keep getting a "No HDMI Video" error with it reporting.. well no video. I can get video out of the Z9 connected directly to my television and I can get video into the Indie 7 via my MacBook Pro.

I've tried setting the video output to 1080i and 1080p as was suggested in an old forum for the Z6/Z7. And of course I've tried everything from h.264 1080/25 to R3D 6k to no success (on the applicable cameras).

I've so far reached out to SmallHD support and Nikon NPS to support, but you know, this is day one so nothing back from ether yet.

I have a couple HDMI cables coming from different manufacturers to try them, but the Alvins Cables should be a pretty good one. And the only other thing suggested so far is to connect the camera to a HDMI to SDI converter as it might just be fussiness there. Which if it works will be great, I plan to use it on the ZR until I get a RED Komodo X. But I would think/hope the HDMI connection would just work.
