Z9II

I am very excited about a new sensor rumor and a new processor rumor for the Z9II. A sensor with faster readout allowing flash sync up to 1/720th of a second is going to allow extended use of flash and a base ISO of 32 should allow for more dynamic range. What else should be included? I think the larger LCD from the Zr should be added but it is not on the NR main blog list.

A Z8II with free upgrade for current Z8 owners :)

Seriously though rumors look good. Curious how the native 32 ISO works given the pixel size is about the same as current.

With the Z9 II going 1/720th that leaves a lot of space below it for the Z8 II to not use as fast a sensor while still being highly competitive and almost matching the AF speed.

I can't see them doing a different sensor for a Z8II there is just too much economy of scale to take advantage of.

Here is an additional idea: include is micro SD card slot if it doesn't take up too much room. Make it the first body with three removable media slots. Why the micro SD card slot? Because they are cheap and can be used as internal storage. Amazon sells a Lexar 1 TB micro SD card for $155.00 and a 2 TB micro SD card for $330.00. That would be a cheap way to add huge internal storage to a body and that internal storage would be easily removable as opposed to an internal solid state hard drive. As to slower write speed, software could write to the micro SD card from the faster CF express card during "down time" when the body is not taking a photo and is waiting for the photographer to take the next photo. Maybe it would increase the price $25.00 to include a micro SD card and the buyer could either add the micro SD card or not if they don't want to use it whereas an internal SS drive would add hundreds of dollars of cost to every buyer whether they wanted to use it or not.
