Last year I was asked to show some photos in an exhibition. I had Costco print my shots on metal in 11"x 14" and couldn't be more happy. I need to have some more printed.
All the way up to 44x31.5 and larger sometimes on a couple of Epson 9600 printers, I'm lucky enough to be in the commercial printing business and have free access to out printers when I want.
In reference to ?'s about the Epson SC 800 I have used one since they came on the market. Only dissatisfaction is the lack of a cutter like larger format printers use. Not a deal breaker but it means one more piece of equipment to pack when printing on the road. 17x48" prints are easier to print still with the E 800 than loading and unloading the E 7900. Being wireless is a plus. Makes proofing easier while on location easier too.
I only now started to print 16 by 20 inch with my epson p800. For the first time I am understanding the concept of sharpening and noise reduction. Handled properly, the output is outstanding
