    Not my nightmare, but my cousin's. She has a Sony RX100 and a 16 gig Sandisk card. I get a call from her last night at 10:30 and the first thing she tells me is that she has an emergency. I thought it was a physical or safety issue, but then she tells me it's because she can't read her SD card.

    I do a quick facepalm and she tells me photos from a Justin Bieber and Backstreet Boys concert are on it. She asks me how to recover them, and I tell her I really haven't had problems with recovering files before.

    Sigh, some people have some strange priorities. :D

    On a side note, I've never had a Sandisk card fail on me, but that's probably because I format the card every time I dump photos off the card and back it up.
