With the Kutcher story on the front page I thought it would be nice to know who else uses Nikon..

Kate Moss of course was the Nikon girl.

Tom Cruise has a Nikon D3.

    Lady Gaga has a Coolpix.

    Jennifer Aniston has a D700.

Lindsay Lohan and Justin Bieber are also Nikon shooters.

The late Dennis Hopper used Nikons. He was a great photographer.

Leonard Nimoy is a wonderful art photographer and has used Nikons in the past (I think he mainly shoots Hasselblads now).

I love to take a photograph,

I am a Kpop Fan :-) Nikon Endorsement Model Dara is a member of a Kpop supergroup 2NE1 .. Bit prettier than Kutcher :-)

I have also seen Miryo the rapper for the Kpop girl group "Brown Eyed Girls" using Nikon DSLRs.
PS: The iconic "Abracadabra dance" by Brown Eyed Girls is featured in PSY's new song "Gentleman"

I find the idea of a celebrity endorsement is only in the mind of the observer. If an individual has talent in the area of photography let that be the judge of the ability to endorse a camera.

We have on NRF many who could endorse cameras, yet the possible advantage of a celebrity is they have the financial capability to purchase anything they want and maybe they have tried a lot of different lines.

And, in fact, in shooting professionally, one often will have multiple camera lines as the situation demands.

I don't believe any celebrity who endorses a product does so because they like it so much - they get paid to endorse it - huge difference.

Hopper was a fantastic photographer, Aniston got into it because Brad Pitt is a wonderful photog as well (used mostly film, Nikon & leica last I saw). I'll have to look at my bookmarks, I know I have a bunch stashed somewhere.- there are a lot of great celebs that are great photographers.

Interesting to see that Tom Cruise has held onto his D3. Paris Hilton used a D80 lol Jerry Bruckheimer likes using Nikon's pro bodies D3/D4 series. Steve (The Man) McCurry swears by his Nikons =D>

Kanuck - and what's wrong with a D80? She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts!

    ;-)

Actually, I was just surprised she had the good taste to select such a camera ^^

I thought the D80 was only a so-so camera? In any case, the D90 completely blew it out of the water.

The D80 was a great camera to get your feet wet with Nikon, but you are right the D90 was a better all around body. The D80 had excellent noise I found it gave me better shots than my second body at the time (D300) on my month long trip to Vietnam, Laos and Thailand back in 2008.

Yeah, I'm glad I went for the D40 because around the time I bought it, the D80 was still selling. About 3-4 months after the D40 purchase the D90 came out. I would have been pretty annoyed if that happened.

I'm really stretching the definition of celebrity, but in the behind the scenes videos of Metal Gear Solid 4, they were using a D200 to do their location scouting.

On that side note, any video gamers in NRF?
