  I'm guessing popular means, top selling consumer lenses like the 35mm F1.8G, 50mm F1.8G, 16-85mm, 18-200, 18-300 & 28-300.

  Great! Just received my D7k 18-200VRII kit. I wonder if there is a rebate on this lens if there will be a "if you just bought a lens from this date to this date you can apply for the rebate" clause? Wishful thinking maybe...

  Well, I canceled my 105mm on Amazon, looking for a rebate to be in effect tonight. But, in the meantime, the price of the lens is up over $90, or 10%. So, I may have shot myself in the foot by anticipating the rebate. And, if none is announced tonight, I may look at the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 as my next acquisition.
  How very frustrating.....but, I think tonight will be the answer....

  Would really like a 24mm 1.4 or 85mm 1.4 but I doubt either one will be included... If not, I'll just wait for the new Zeiss lenses for those focal lengths.

  Well I went to my wish list and I guess it won't help me. The 24mm 1.4 was listed yesterday as 1999.99 and now its listed as 2199.99 and has an instant $200 rebate, so the price didn't change, great rebate.
  
  I might find the 85mm 1.8 though
  
  I just went and looked on Nikons site I guess they just matched what everyone else was selling them at.

  Lol. I got my copy for $750 a while back. Took some looking and waiting.
  
  Good price on the 85 f1.8...I am tempted. Hmm haven't heard much about the 28 f1.8 though. Nothing else on the list that really intrigued me.
