What is the fastest CF card for the D810?

Hi, I just had a CF card go bad. It can not be formatted in a D810 or a D4, so I assume the CF card is really defective. So, I am condemned to replace it, and I need to know what to replace it with. I seem to remember a discussion someplace on the Forum about this subject but I cannot remember where and a search does not pop up the answer. So, has anyone tried the SanDisk Extreme PRO CFast 2.0 CF card in a D810?

The fastest CF card for the D810 is the Lexar 1066x
The fastest SD card is the Sandisk 95 mbs

Write speed in the D8190 is what matters.

B & H sells these in two packs which are cheaper.

I have two Lexar 1066 cards arriving today for my trip to AK. Have been using 800s and have been very happy.

I wonder how the forest fire situations will effect things there in AK. Assume you are going to Katmai?? Maybe Denali too?

I recently switched to the 1066x for the CF and the Sandisk 95. HUGE difference from the Lexar 800 CF and xxx SDs I had. (I can't recall at the moment which Lexar SD they were).

When making my decision, I used the "Camera Memory Speed" site. They have a D810 test. I found their results to be pretty accurate for the cards I purchased.

    Later,
    Jeff

Remmber for the SD slot, that Nikon does not support UHS-II so cards loke the Lexar 1000x are actually slower than the 95mbs Sandisk, even though they are faster on the Fuji X-T1.

    Good to know. Thanks @haroldp.
I just got a SanDisk 64GB today. This will be the third 95 MB/s (633x) memory card I have purchased. The other two were 32GB cards.
