If you what to see the full capabilities of your DSLR this combination takes it to a new level
Nikon D810
Zeiss Otus 55 1.4 Lens
Mac Imac 27inch 5k computer with all boxes ticked when bought.
Sadly this cannot be replicated on the internet, but to see it in real life is unbelievable.
Mind you if you get it wrong ie out of focus[Manual Lens} boy does it show.

I have seen the images taken by such a setup..and yes the images are truly amazing. Yet, I must say, such a lens is for the top 1% of all photographers due to a few key factors: cost and user's skills of the body and lens complexity in operation.

A max'd out iMac 5K is a beautiful thing to behold. Coupled with the D810 and a stellar hunk of German glass must truly be a thing of beauty. +1 on @Golf007sd comments as there is little room for error if you want the best results. Could you post a raw file so I can pull it up on one of my iMacs and drool? :#

I just checked it out on DXO..uses 33 of the 810s 36 MP....I can see where you are coming from as I have the Samyang 14mm which uses 27 MP ( for £200 or $300)
