Info to those waiting for RRS L-brackets for their D850s

I got the D850, as well as the MB-D18, a long while ago:) But, I am still waiting for RRS to ship out the updated L-bracket, which I ordered over two months ago... However, the L-bracket for the D810 (with MB-D12) works just fine on the D850/MB-D18 combo. It works really well as a matter of fact.

I have used it since i got the D850, and the absolutely only issue I can see is that the bracket does not easily allow for headphone/mic connections. The USB connection is easily accessible, even with the "wrong" L-bracket.

I am currently using a bracket (non RRS) for the body and battery grip which I purchased for a D800. It works ok.

I will keep mine on order because I want to continue to use my bracket on my D800. Very interesting piece of information though. I would probably have my RRS bracket by now if that was general knowledge.

The D800 L bracket works but is not a perfect fit. I didn't mean to imply that it was, only that it works ok. I have not tried to use all the in and out ports with this L bracket.
