    @Searcy Last week I bought the Samsung S21 FE 5G and did some tests with it. I must say that the picture quality has improved considerably since my Samsung S10 :) I am going to do some more with it in the coming weeks.

    Interesting. The "fokeh" on the iphone pic doesn't quite hold up on close inspection but it's getting a lot better. Probably one or two more generations and it will be very difficult to distinguish between natural and artificial bokeh.

    Agreed, the fake bokeh on the Samsung phones is a little hokey too, it has issues with edge and ground detection but I would say overall it's pleasant and overall works well. I'm just happy my phone battery lasts more than half the day and I have 3 lenses to work with now.

    With further testing, I actually have noticed that the sensors on the phone are actually large enough where the camera has difficulty getting everything in focus. It's crazy how far cameras have progressed.

    I am still using my Huawei P30 Pro but I have to say the camera is shyte and it was the hype about its camera that made me buy it.
    So what is the best camera/phone combo guys?

    If you’re deep in the Apple ecosystem then I would say stick with Apple. You seem to be with Android and while I liked my Pixel 3 for photography, the rest of the hardware was lacking. I enjoy using my Samsung S22 but the night photography processing isn’t on par with the Pixel 3 but it still has a wide, normal and a 3x zoom lens with up to 30x digital zoom of which the 10x digital zoom gives very usable results.

    I have a Samsung note20. Nice camera system. its fun .. but I am going back to a "real" camera :-) in 2 days time. I think my new Zfc and Kit 16-50 will do nicely.
