The website is already up, and soon the cameras will be live.
It will be fun, to see yourself from outer space... Not quite, but close enough.

Just a couple more months of testing, tweaking, minor adjustments of the two cameras, and software.
Finally something to get excited about the IIS.

I look up every evening, NNW direction, and think I'm looking directly at it.
There are no other visible stars anywhere near it, so unless I'm actually staring at Venus...??
This has begun to be an exciting time for earthlings, interested in space exploration.

Venus moves slowly, almost the same speed as the stars. The ISS moves more like an airplane e.g. It was visible for 5 minutes this evening, 6 minutes tomorrow due to a slightly higher arc.

Yeah, that sudden appearance and then disappearance so quickly is kind of sad.
It often seems so bright and close when visible.
Much like an oncoming airplane heading towards you, then it just vanishes.

I envy those lucky few astronauts who return to occasionally visit us, from there...
