    minus 35°C….. in South Dakota where I was raised we called that cold. My guess is that at that temp the different materials of the lens/body may have dramatically different coefficients of thermal expansion which at minus 35°C could result in some real difficulties. It is indeed interesting to hear about all of your experiences.

    Thank you Killerbob, agreed on that one, although in other situations (minus 37 is not my usual temperature) the sigma performed more than fine,
