I wish I could give you some feedback; but, I have not had the pleasure of working with the items listed. Given that you have owned RRS gear for some times now, I would like to think your confidence in them speaks toward their productivity.
I personally would like to get your thoughts on them, should you move forward with the purchase.

Well, I happen to have the B150-B: Macro focusing rail, and it is a very nice piece of equipment, in the RRS tradition. The B150-B Ultimate Pkg: (Two B150-B Rails) will certainly add versatility to doing the macro work with a collared lens. I think another possibility is to use one B150-B Rail and a 192 PPP: MPR-192 & Mini-Clamps.
I also have the B150-B Macro focusing rail. Wish I had bought it years ago. The flexibility it provide you is outstanding for shooting macro photography. Love the ability to make gross/large adjustments and not have to move the tripod. The small adjustments are so smooth and with the marked settings, you can easily go back to a previous setting. Also like the ability to unlock the mechanism from the rails and scoot it to the new position. Bottom line, I highly recommend the RRS B150-B Macro focusing rail.
After @Golf gets his lens I expect he will buy the Macro focusing rail.

@Photobug: If you recall back in February I was looking at a set of this nature, but I was out bid on eBay. Arrrrr.
I'm pleased that your own personal experience with the RRS B150-B Macro has been promising.
Looks like I have to keep hunting.... :P
@Golf007sd Oh I do remember that conversation. My hunch you are going to have a long wait and finally you will give in and buy direct from RRS. =D>
I am trying to figure out what I can sell to buy an RSS tripod head. Don't want to reduce my slush fund which is fat enough to buy a D9300...or if that does not happen, perhaps a 24-70 & a D800S.

This was RRS's response to that suggestion: The 192 PPP will work for gross adjustments, but does not offer the precision movements of the B150-B. Sure, it will work, but if you want finite adjustments left-right and fore-aft the B150-B Ultimate is the way to go.
BD800-L: L-Plate for D800/800E (I have one for my MB-D12 battery grip and my Coolpix A as well) MPR-73: 73mm rail Multi-purpose rail B150-B Ultimate Pkg: Two B150-B Rails B2-LMT: Lens Mount for B150-B
After I play around with it and am not a total idiot using it, I will post some pictures and comments. My 200mm F4 Macro is going to take a while to master.
I will then assess if I need any off camera lighting.
More $$. I am into RRS for CDN $4,000 including shipping and Canadian taxes now. Sigh.....I could have bought a DF and a 58mm 1.4G.
@Photobug: Which head are you interested in...BH-55? Which ballhead do you have now?
I am in Pensacola and did no Internet since Tuesday. Don't like typing on a tablet so pardon the Grammer short cuts. Vale the Martins M20L. Looking seriously at BH-55...@least that sounds right.
Did u connect on that eBay item? Sure hope so.

So I'm on the brink of needed a good panorama setup, to shoot 360º frames, and RRS is one of the runners up at this point. I'm trying to figure out what setup to go with, and I think the PG-02 Pro L should work, but wanted to know what more experience RRS/Pano users think. I prefer screw type clamps, just in case anyone wants to suggest one of the lever type models (LR or LLR). I don't think that I would need the PG-02 FG for what I am doing.
I am also considering the similarly priced JOBU panning Gimbal Head PGH-1. I already have some JOBU products, and I can order them from in Canada, which would save me a lot of money (import duty etc). So if anyone has had a hands on experience with that as well, a comparison would be great!

If I take a good photo it's not my camera's fault.
1) What lens are you planning on using? Hence, will it be a telephoto with a foot. if so you may need a nodal slide. 2) Are planning on mounting the panning clam on your ballhead or the apex of your tripod? 3) Do you have a L-Bracket?

1. Primary use would be with my 16-35mm F4. Doing real estate work, so I just need the device to deal with parallax errors for the 360º pans. 2. Most likely on my ballhead. If I mounted it directly on the tripod I would need an additional levelling base. 3. Yes (D700) and No (D800, but will be ordering one)

What will that do that the panning base on my ballhead won't? The Markins Q10 I use has a marked panning base already, so I assume I wouldn't need another panning base.

The unit will allow you to mount you lens on top, then once you have found you parallax point, all you do is turn the second nob and turn the pano head 360 degree while everything stays true and level. I have the same setup.

I highly recommend a nodal slide. Moreover, get the 192 Precision Plus Pack like I did. This will allow you mount telephoto lenses that have foot collar in the future.
Have a look at page 5 regarding my setup.

@WestEndBoy & Photobug: Ok amigos...I was finally able to find a good deal on the B150-B: Macro focusing rail. The days of hunting for that right focus has come to and end. Weeeeeeeeee

@WestEndBoy: Do you also have a wireless shuttler release cable of some sort? I would you think, given this setup, it would come in handy. No?
Golf007sd, I have a wire release. Not sure of the advantage that wireless would have?
