saw this baby Monocled Cobra hunt down a toad and then devour it ...... wasn't able to find my 50mm f/1.8 so had to click with the 18-55 kit lens at f/5.6, hence the noise

This is a good example of the D800 resolution power. If you download the full res, you will see a funny structure on the far-most peak and a cross on the right-most one. I especially like the constructions in the far right-hills.
