Bought a small softbox and wanted to test that out with my new flash (SB-910). Seemed to work ok on a single person. Didn't try it full bodylength, but my makeshift studio (just some cloth put on up in our garage) didn't cover all the way to the ground :-)

I have mild OCD, you can probably imagine how the setup for this shot went... 1AM and it took me a solid 45 minutes before I was "happy" with what I captured. After loading the images I wasn't so happy, but it is pretty close to symmetrical.
**edit** fixed the link, apparently I grabbed the wrong one (too many updates to the photo before I was "happy" with the final product)
still playing around with it in photoshop a little, trying to find the happy medium between conveying the warmth (actual temp and lighting) as a result of the furnaces, and not being too yellow.
I'd set out to shoot the mountains this past weekend, but when the ducks kept flying by I couldn't resist. D800 | 70-200 | 200mm | f/7.1 | 1/2000s | ISO 400 | -1/3 EV Processed using Silver Efex
Finished editing photos from Marseille, and this was one of my favorite places in the city. The MuCEM (Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilisations) had paths that led to some great views. But I enjoyed the look if the top floor, especially after the down pour that had happened just 10 minutes prior.
Nice picture but it seems to me like there is too much of a green tinge to the image.
