Great photos, everyone! Coronado, California from Thursday evening. Being a stay at home Dad has made photography of land and seascapes more difficult, but now that my boy is approaching four, I'm looking forward to this winter. The best skies of the year here in SD.
Nice shot Taylor...good to see back on line.

This little guy either would not sit still in decent light, or would not move up and away from this intervening branch. I think he was taunting me. So this is more of a detail exercise with the 300+1.4TC and my hand holding technique.

Taken in California last summer. I know these are a little cliche to some, but I could do this all day. My wife says, "What's with the obsession with moving water?" D90 | 17-35 | 17mm | f/22 | 1.6s | ISO 200 I know I should have popped the 10-stop filter on this and shot a little more wide open but I was six miles into a 10-mile hike, I was getting tired, and my wife was losing patience. I don't really see any bad diffraction.

Flickr has apparently changed again. Makes it difficult to figure out how to copy images. Either that or I pushed a button unknowingly.
