It's a tradition to give the grandparents lottery tickets in their Christmas card. From the second my grandma opens them until every last one is scratched nothing else exists. Here she is in her own little world.
@ PitchBlack - I've liked your "Selva" series so far, but the most recent one works extra well for me. The interplay of lines and curves (natural and artificial), and light and shadow, between the various objects on the frame I find to be very engaging. Nice work.
