First of all Merry Christmas to all of you. Due to some health problems with my newborn I don't have enough time to work not to mention do some other activities. However, I've managed to go for a short time to zoo on the 25th - as is my tradition for some time and capture this beautiful lioness. As you can see, there's no sign of winter over here, which is quite unusual for continental europe.
The file was a total mess when I uploaded it to my box. It was all blurred and lack a lot of contrast. To get rid of the blur I used the shake reduction filter from PS CC. To bring the colours back to life I've done some local point processing in Viveza and last but not least I've put some additional colour around eyes to make them stand out a little bit more.
I'm going to just sit right here on my trusty camp stool with the monopod for a few more days. Are you ready for some Rodeo? This Roman Rider needs asbestos lining in those wranglers. I'm thinking about a tune Jerry Lee Lewis made famous on the piano.
I've been MIA with a work overload. December is just too busy in the restaurant business.. I started December with a Snowy Owl, might as well finish the month with one. This Male Juvenile was found 8 days basically starved to death. It was brought back by A Place Called Hope and released today! D7100, (the lowly) Sigma 150-500 OS @300mm, 1/1000th, F7.1, ISO 1000
