Made a lot of photo calendars from my images for gifts again this Xmas. This one is the December image from a wildlife calendar. I had sold my old DSLR and was waiting to buy a FF camera (which ironically I hardly use now), so this was shot with my old D40 with 70-200mm VRII attached. 'Only' 6MP but still prints out to a good size.
Shot a few years back in the Galapagos. This garbage weather is forcing me to dig into my archives. I had some shots of this yellow warbler head on, but I preferred the ones that showed the red plumage. D90 | 80-400 | 400mm | f/8 | 1/250s | ISO 400

This was hidden behind an obstruction as I recall. A couple detail shots will come up in a day or so.
