Sticking with the motorcycle theme from yesterday. This is an outtake from a calendar shoot a few months ago. Really had a good time shooting this.

Tamara. This photo was shot with the D800 and the Nikon 85/1.4g. The model was behind glass. Normally the object is to limit specular highlights, but I did my best to position the lighting in such a was as to maximize glare on everything but her face. I also held a small crystal up to the camera to get additional flare, and that resulted in the prismatic effect in her hair.

Did you use a polarizer for the window shot? I received my copy of the prism from amazon and I can't wait to use it. its been sitting on my desk for a few weeks now. I just need a sunny day to try it out.

@PB_PM: WOW! that mallard sure is giving that Amphibian a working over! Never seen that before. Maybe the duck is enjoying a hallucinogenic lick of a Cane Toad... @-) Nicely caught - really.

Yeah, the battle between these two lasted for over 10 minutes! In the end the frog/toad escaped.
