I was raised in North Dakota. We call South Dakota the warm part of the Dakotas! Now I am in Philadelphia expecting a 10 inch snow storm tomorrow. Where is Al Gore's global warming when you need it!
Funny shot FreezeAction. Looks like they could be vying for a Darwin Award nomination. Back to birds for me today. D800 | 300mm + TC1.4 | 1/60s | f/4 | ISO 3200 | -1/3 EV Shot on a tripod obviously, but boy these were some of the toughest conditions ever. Cropped and tweaked using by NIK Define and ColorEfex.
Testing my first post to PAD. Hope I do this right! A giraffe we were thrilled to meet on the way to the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania. July 2009.
Taken on a Nikon D40 with a Sigma 18-200mm OS. I've upgraded my Nikon DSLR twice since then, but still look back fondly on the images that my D40 produced.
Toronto photographer (shooting with Nikon of course) who loves documentary, music, event and street photography. www.culturesnap.ca
Taken years ago with my old D3000 and kit lens in Thailand. To this day the most spectacular sunset I've ever seen and glad I had a camera with me to capture it, even if it was just from the hotel balcony. 3 shots stitched.

This was the husband to be of the girl in the fancy dress that I've shared before. No studio here, just shot in their living room.
