Testing my first post to PAD. Hope I do this right! A giraffe we were thrilled to meet on the way to the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania. July 2009.

Taken on a Nikon D40 with a Sigma 18-200mm OS. I've upgraded my Nikon DSLR twice since then, but still look back fondly on the images that my D40 produced.

Taken years ago with my old D3000 and kit lens in Thailand. To this day the most spectacular sunset I've ever seen and glad I had a camera with me to capture it, even if it was just from the hotel balcony. 3 shots stitched.
