I've heard the rate of construction in Nashville is crazy.

No I'm not a building inspector or anything official like that. I just like the old mill buildings that are left over from when textiles were king here and am trying to photograph them before they disappear. There aren't a lot left. Many were razed after they closed, often out of spite. Others have been renovated, or have deteriorated so badly as to be just ruins. I'm lucky in that one of the best remaining mills (from a photographic perspective) is very close to me and I keep going back to that well. But it isn't immune to decay - I've noticed several artifacts go missing in the year or so that I have been going there, and the floors are getting more questionable in some areas.
