Oh it was so much fun in the late 60's and early 70's as US motor companies were making Muscle Cars. This one is a Buick GS 455. Check out the dual air feeds to the carburetors.

I agree with everyones choices of shots. My favorites are when they have setups like this. Wish more would do this, they're always a crowd pleasure and fun to shoot.

I snapped this two days ago. It's a good example of "wish I could change the background." At least I know who has the best price on rocket fuel...

Haha, I always wondered, how can that be road legal? Do you register it as a trike?

I took these shots a few years ago. I didn't have my normal gear with me, but I still got some okay results.

    Sorry...I couldn't resist.
    The headlights are on! :-))
Some interior lightning would be nice too. LoL
Do give you credit for taking a picture of a car on the wall....glad you were not under it. [-X

Speaking of things on the wall...

A little bummed out that the MOMA doesn't have more cars.

I'm not sure why anyone would want to permanently affix it to the wall, I think hearing it is just as important as seeing it, but that's modern art for you.

I kid you not, a monocycle stuck backwards (seat first) into a stool is considered modern art.

Call me old fashioned but that's not art to me.

Over the years I have seen some strange things on a wall. A lot of it is on film but now you have me thinking what do I have from museums of strange things on a wall. It's good to be challenged creatively once in a while.

Well, one more example of how post processing is critical in bring out the best in the subject. When shooting cars in a fixed lighting venue, no flash allowed, available light only, this is IMO the only way to get results. Here is one I kinda like:

    After post processing:

This is a higher view of the auto meet at my university.

    DSCN2523

It's a small-ish car show, but it's cool because I like how the lineup of cars is completely unexpected.
