I still hope that we can import all the data from the old forum, as it would be such a pity to get rid of all this knowledge we got there. I keep my fingers crossed for this.
Looks like I got mine working after mistyping my email address...guess that is what I get for trying to do it on my phone. All my posts went away...I am a newb again
We are all newbies, apparently. I haven't looked around to see if there have been requests for a return to the other color scheme, but consider my vote for that if it's a choice.
CC is welcome. DC is also welcome when I deserve it.
Yep, too bad about all those posts, but I suppose we will get there eventually. I'm not seeing a whole lot different from the old forum in terms of usage, but if it is easier to maintain, that I suppose that that is worth it.
Can the "old site" stay active somewhere if the data can not be moved? I might be beneficial if we identify the actual useful threads and just dump the rest.
In your "Inbox" click on the conversation and on the right you will see a button which says "Delete Conversation" Clicking here should delete a conversation.

The old forum is still active at http://nikonrumors.com/forum/ and it will be until I move the data over. I will make a permanent link somewhere on the main page for easy access.
Peter, Haven't had much time to dig in to the new forum but I will say I liked the old color scheme better (black background) especially with the PAD. I think the white takes away from the image. I've got 1 vote for a darker background color, at least for the PAD but I'd also prefer it for the whole forum.

By the way thanks for running this site!
