Kanuck, such a great series. WestEnd, I'd love to tap your brain about shooting in Barcelona. My son is spending the year studying there and my wife and I are planning on visiting him in February.
Thank you Gene_McGill. And Kanuck, those are really nice shots. Spraynpray, yes, I do have a composite in mind. In fact, I take lots of photos for no other reason then to develop a composite inventory. Problem is, I don't really know how yet. I have only taken the first Photoshop course of 3 in my photography program. Composites are covered in the second course, which I figure will be this time next year and I will make sure that I master frequency separation before then. I am in no hurry. I start a speedlight course in a couple of weeks. Eventually I will get the whole program done, say in 4 or 5 years.
More bricks!

PS Gene_McGill. Maybe I will do an "Evora Cathedral" series after the brick series. Of all the churches I have been to in Europe, I have never seen more stunning interior colours. I can't believe that I didn't bother to go into that church when I first went 15 years ago.

Thank you very much @heartyfisher mainly due to frequency separation and I most often use Topaz Clarity or Topaz Black and White + beautiful models :-)

Palacio Episcopal, built in the 13th century, with numerous modifications over the centuries, is a worthwhile stop in the Gothic Quarter (Barri Gòtic in Catalan).

Even more bricks!! Well, maybe some old bricks too.....

@WestEndFoto: A model would have made this very special - do a composite?
@kanuk: One of your best IMHO.
@framer: it is an art installation. The figure is a mannequin. I liked the form contrast of person vs. roof shape

@Kanuck: Outstanding shots from Myanmar!
Here is a different angle on the church in St. Bees.

Broke out the 50, cause the 58 is too tempting to shoot wide open.

Downtown West Palm Beach
Most photos of this building that I've seen are from the front. I'm bucking the trend.

Still loving the way this lens renders..
