A decade ago I had an assistant hold my camera while I got the feel of a "Hawg". What is lead to was a story on my bout with cancer and how I had kicked it. After the mag came out I was given the finished image. Just something a little different to post. Normally these bikes were shot with a cable release in ambient light without a person on the seat.
Young reticulated giraffe feeding. Worst shooting conditions ever. Thank God for high ISO performance and a steady tripod. D810 | 300mm + TC20 | f/5.6 | 1/80s | ISO 2000 | -1/3 EV
My photo was taken in Denmark. I had no chance to see how the bird fly. It would just be nice to know what kind it is. It looks like a baby bird in my mind.
The Kestrel is a Europe wide species Samko, I am sure that is what it is. Had a bit of brain-fade when I typed Sparrow Hawk above, I've corrected that.
Well, as one who likes to place limits on myself, I decided to capture what I could see of The Henry Ford Museum via a modified 10.5mm Nikkor on full frame. The results will be seen in the next several days on PAD......so, prepare yourself..... )
