    Little Chart

The church at Little Chart is a ruin due to a stroke of misfortune. In 1945 one of Hitlers V2 'Doodle Bugs' fell short of it's mark (London) and hit this church. Nobody was killed fortunately.

... one of Hitlers V2 'Doodle Bugs' ...

Spooky and beautiful picture, although it was the V-1 that was called the Doodlebug, I believe ... while looking forward to the next PaD.

St. Augustine has interesting buildings. This is Spanish Revival. An old Flagler hotel which is now Flagler College. Shot with a Coolpix A which I find very easy to carry around and still obtain a reasonable quality image.

Sunset over the Atlantic Ocean in South Carolina? Impossible. The sun doesn't set in the East. Must be a sunrise.

Not every inch of coastline on the Atlantic faces due east.

Edisto Beach is an island so yes, you could actually face West to see a sunset like this in South Carolina. In addition, the EXIF states 16:55:02 so it would be getting dark that time of day before Daylight Saving time.

Photobug: did you find a place where a beach on the Atlantic Ocean actually does face West? Or is this a sunrise?
