Hi everyone! Its been a long, long time since I posted. My schedule, in terms of photography, the last year, has been difficult. I broke my ankle in January, which put me in a chair for three months, and then I had a lot of work to do. Now, I have a bit less work and more time to practice photography, so I can come up the excellent standards here. The Bitterroot Mountains in early morning:
This is actually a self portrait of sorts. It's me. I set up the camera on tripod with the self timer set for several exposures. An SB-910 was behind me on a light stand with a Phottix Odin receiver attached. A CTO gel gave the flash color. Pre-focusing on a spot on the ground was key to my being sharp in this image. And yes, this was after a rain and it started again during the shoot.
I'm an hour early posting, but also going to bed earlier than usual... Please forgive me!
