With my D7100 and D800 two YN622n worked fine but come the D810 this became unpredictable so I purchased a TN622 TX and the system worked perfect except the TX does not have a shoe for an on camera flash and will not work with cables of any sort.
So the question is has anyone got the Goddox X1 system which has a shoe on the transmitter. I want to use one flash on the camera and one behind the bride. Can anyone confirm functionality on the 810.
PS I would use an SB400 on the camera and a YN565 on the receiver

Well I found the pair of Godox x1 at £67 then the same at £61 and then £49 ($60) so I thought thats it and bought them. So I have one 622n TX and two 622N if anyone in UK/ EU wants them for £ 49 as new almost unused.
Will let you know how well the Godox work.

NOTE see revised extra information in a higher post .
