    Looked at the test images.....sharpness...not as impressive as I might have thought, but I could not find any CA and the night shots would be where one might easily see this. In fact, I cannot remember a lens which had lower CA. I thought the flare was extremely well controlled as well. Perfect night shooter.

    I think a heads up comparison with the new 58mm f/1.4 Nikkor G would be nice....then we could see the exact scene with both lenses.

    I was annoyed that the night shots were all f/2.8 or slower but I'm reminded by wise words in the 58 1.4 thread that we mustn't let a marketer's choice of test shot influence our buying decisions.

    I'm already on record saying I won't buy this glass --too big-- but I'm very interested to see if it's a rockstar wide open after dark. @msmoto's renewed call for a shootout with the Nikon still makes great sense.

    I think it just got better with the Nikon 58mm 1.4, but will have to wait and see to be sure.
