As a courtesy we ask that you keep your photos to under 640 pixels on the longest side. If you post a photo that is much larger than 640 pixels then it may be deleted from the thread. You can have your smaller photo link to a larger version but the embedded photos must be less than 640 pixels. Please do not offer criticism of other's images unless specifically requested by the individual posting the photo. Criticism may be best accomplished by posting comments on Flickr or the OP’s photo posting source.

    Thanks for the compliment in the July thread Photobug. That was taken from my backyard. I'm fairly close to the airport and sometimes military planes do touch n go's and other exercises. I've even seen Air Force One around - I think it gets serviced there sometimes.

    mhedges...like the sun and the Sun Flower photo.
    So on August 4th I went over to our neighbors and took a picture of their Sun Flower that their daughter brought home from school when it was less than 1 foot tall. Now it's over 10 ft.

    First, really like the shot of the fighter.

    About 45 minutes from where we live is a field that is about 10 acres and it's covered in Sun Flowers. I have been there twice for photo shoots. It was an amazing time. Have not been there in years and I don't have any photographs on Flickr to post.

    Thought I would add a plane to go with the last couple of pictures. This WWII bomber was taxing to take off with a load of paying passengers for a 30 minute ride.
