Great work guys. Donald, have you tried pulling the clarity slider to the left on a normal image? It seems to me to have an effect similar to the lensbaby.
Another odd combination. Z6ii and 64 year old 135mm f4 Jupiter 11 Russian lens. Tomorrow I will post a picture taken with this combo showing sharpness and bokeh which can be obtained from it. Not so easy to work with but it's great that the Z mirrorless system makes these things possible.
Starting to process from my solar eclipse sojourn to Spencer, Indiana. It was amazing! Shot through some high, very thin clouds This was just prior to C2 (full totality). The diamond ring is taking shape.

Very nice! No complete eclipse here in Eastern Pennsylvania so no corona. I shot this pic through the trees and clouds using my Samsung S23 ultra cell phone while sitting in my hot tub. Not the best, but not bad for a cellphone pic.
This is a photo taken with the Z6ii and the 135mm f4 Jupiter 11 Russian lens. At the end of WWII Russia sole this lens design from Zeiss which had a factory located in what became West Germany under Russian control. So you can say it is a Zeiss lens made in a Russian factory with less skill. Shooting with very old lenses on a new mirrorless body is just something interesting to do to see what, if anything, can be accomplished. Probably shot at around f5.6.
Here's an edit of a single frame during totality. Still working on my bracketed frame sets so I'll have to see if I can get much more. the bluish color is artistic license on my part.

Very nice. My photo was shot with the Z mount 85mm AF Meike costing only $200.00. Shot at f2.8. I wanted to see what that lens could do with sharpness and bokeh. Amazing for the price! We seem to entering a time of some very good and very cheap AF lenses coming out of China. The $140.00 auto focus APSC Viltrox 56mm f1.7 lens is getting rave reviews.
$200.00 well spent. I thought it might be good for portraits which don't have to be particularly sharp but I was surprised how it could be used for other things. Here is a crop of the butterfly. More than good enough in my opinion.
