@QuintonHurst: As far as I know, HDR is always JPG only.
If you want to get more exact FPS rates, you can do so by shooting a watch with continuously moving second digit - yes, an analogue one.
Which brand and type of SD cards do you use?
Yes, the multiselector dial is 2mm less diameter than the ones of D7000 and D800, but I like the way it stands out. And even more the OK button in the different views as shortcut to enlarge the picture quickly. To me, it feels on some places a bit quicker to use. This goes as well in the menu where I can see the last edited settings - handy to readjust without climbing through the menu again.
And the ON/OFF switch feels more defined, less soft positions.
At the beginning I had the same impression of the shutter's noise, but after some hundred shots I got used to it and start to like it.

Please continue on that thread unless there is a specific issue such as the D600 dust.oil issue.
