What is your dream shoot?

So, resources, time, gear all without limitations, what is your dream shoot?

Your dream shoot doesn't have to be unique, just something special to you. And it has to be technically possible.

(No family portraits with every living/dead generation of your family, for example).

I have a few, that will likely never happen, but dare to dream! etc.:

(1) I want to do an unhindered, unrestricted month-long (or more) shoot of Machu Picchu.

(2) I want to do a series of portraits around the world on people who are the last masters of traditional skills. Subjects would be working at their craft in each photograph, in their work location.

What would you like to do?
D700, 70-200mm f/2.8 VRII, 24-70mm f/2.8, 14-24mm f/2.8, 50mm f/1.4G, 200mm f/4 Micro, 105mm f/2.8 VRII Micro, 35mm f/1.8, 2xSB900, 1xSB910, R1C1, RRS Support...

... And no time to use them.

A month somewhere with transportation other than an enclosed vehicle. Himalaya area would be awesome, but any one of the other great mountain ranges of the world like the Alps, or Andes would be awesome also. Close second maybe a trip up or down the Nile or Amazon.

Work with Pitchblack to learn how to pose models and use lights. Three outings would be terrific.

Richard Avedon, In the American West, captured people and this is what I would love to do. And, I might get this opportunity, not to the extent Avedon did it, but using a similar approach, capture real life, everyday folks....

My dream shoot would be two months off, a small RV so I am totally mobile and self contained, lots of cash, no set plans, and just travel the US/Canada alone or with a dog shooting whatever I felt like whenever I felt like it.

Photograph mexico natives such as indian like mayan in their livelihood and the locals. Mostly the elderly and their struggles along with their work habits. Due to the situation of cart els in mexico I have not gone. My next option would be peru or even japan.
In mexico there are some natives that specialize in making guitars. I would like to start there and then work towards the landscapes that that state offers.

I took some in mexico with my kodak p&s and Maybe Ill revisit the archives and post them.

Thay would be a good goal to accomplish for me and short term when everything goes perfect at photoshoot.

Hahahah... @photobug. Awesome, we'll do a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit shoot with Candice Swanepoel on the island of Phuket. We ought to manage some decent shots there.
I so admire your work and the imagery and of course the technical aspects are outstanding. The last two posts on PAD were outstanding...like your previous work.

A SI Swimsuit shoot...what a learning experience...a dream shoot for sure. Keep up the great work and please continue sharing your work with us.

My dream photoshoot would be to have the chance to rent out a racetrack and shoot some actions photos of race cars. Maybe a group C race car reunion? Mazda 787B, Nissan R92CP, stuff like that. Maybe throw in a McLaren F1 GTR or so.

And then I get to hang out the back of a minivan or so and get to take photos all day long. It's probably incredibly tiring, but I wouldn't mind trying it once.

When we're done I also get to drive them.

    Am I asking too much?

I've already been to the location of my dream shoot twice, now all that is left is to go another time. :)
If I take a good photo it's not my camera's fault.

The world is my oyster...so long as my battery is charged, their is room for the days shoot...then every press of shutter button yields itself a moment that I will cherish for life. For me, their is no specific subject matter I shoot, so just take me along and i will be quite happy with whatever get in front of my lens.

That said, I'm all in with Ironheart.

This is the perfect size for us
It goes under most height barriers and fits in most parking spaces
We also get over 40 mph mpg on the motorway
it is now 1 year old, even when we sell it in 9 years time it will worth a lot more the 500
