I trued uploading the original sized image and it slows down performance A LOT! I just wanted to see how it would be handled. Definitely going to stick to the 800 on the long side.
Yes, this is if you upload a photo directly to the forum. Otherwise you can still add a link to an external image. Let me check why images are not directly linked to the source,
I cannot figure out how to do the direct link and that is why I posted a separate link to a large image. Many photos on PAD have been posted from other sites which do not have a direct link.
The reason why there is no direct link is because the image is being displayed in full res after you click on it. If you right click on the image and open in new tab/window, it will open in its original location (flickr). I am not sure if I can change that. Do you get flickr "views" if the image is being displayed that way?
