For those of you who live in the northeastern U.S., you know that we've been having some wicked weather with flash flooding all over the place. This was shot last weekend between storms.

@PitchBlack, another beautiful photo sir! @Juergen, your landscapes are fantastic! @Pickerel, great capture and composition. Love the reflection in the pool below. @Golf007sd, nice macro with vibrant color.
I love to see what pops up next on POD. All the photos are inspiring. Wish I had more time to comment on all.
Happy to post on consecutive days on PAD......as usual very nice pixes on display...my share of today.....don't know the name of the plant...from my recent Cape Town trip D800, 24-70mm f/2.8, 1/200s, f/11, ISO 250
These birds are wing tagged in Scotland as they were part of a reintroduction into the wild as the population had fallen to zero up until the late 90's early 2000's, when the programme started D300, sigma 100-300 f4 + 1.4x tc
@pickerel very impressive scene, look dangerous, nice composition. @proudgeek, looks like a giant hand, very nice. @PitchBlack with such beauties, we should almost consider it cheating :> @MsMoto soo sharp, well done, I like the PitchBlack-style bokey. @Rx4Photo beautiful tone and sci-fi look No PP, as is beside a small crop.
Many incredible images! July is really off to a great start!
For people that wonder about my bargain Tokina, this one is shot wide open and I actually uploaded a pretty large resolution to flickr so you can see for yourself...
I always find groomsmen to have a very interesting dynamic. In an every day situation you would find most reluctant to even ask if an outfit looked good, etc. Then you get them asking each other to do their buttons, iron their clothes, straighten their ties and so on.
aodwoz I love that. Pity you couldn't get a reflection of the head. Coastal's osprey shot from yesterday reminded me that I had a bunch of these that I hadn't yet processed. Seems ospreys don't always have the best manners. D90 | 300mm + TC17 | f/5.6 | 1/500s | ISO 250 | -1/3 EV
Black bird stopped for a second,I dont know how you birders like costalconn get those amazing shots. An thanks for all the nice comments on my flicker account.
My share for the day...still with Cape Town...taken via the windscreen of moving car during ride from the airport. D800, 24-70 f/2.8 @ 70mm, ISO 160, 1/1000, f/5.0
