Beautiful shot, "Itsnotyouitsme". The famous 200mm /4.0 Micro matched with the D800....Jeez, who needs a microscope? or a scalpel? I "may" get that lens some day. Not on of the top of my list, but it's a thought. Happy 4th w/e

Thanks. It takes some practise and getting used to as the DOF is so thin even at small apertures. For a macro lens it's reasonable at AF, but I usually use manual focus with it. I bought it in London for about £850 in mint condition, it doesn't come up for sale very often.

One from the plane on my way back from Germany. Was involved with an event with one of the Formula 1 sponsors and couldn't get away to go to the practise session at Nurburgring.

The town you can see is Epping on the edge of London. We had a longer approach than normal which meant I had some time before the "no electronics" came in.

For a second I wondered how you knew Squamish. Then I saw the little end of the pig tail.

It was actually the guitar and strap that gave it away. I believe they're almost as old an worn out as he is.
