Geez this is so true it's scary. I think for most people they would agree up to about 90% of the video. Are we really so similar or perhaps it's simply human nature at work here :-/
This must be applying to my three day photo shoot in Virginia….12 hours of power outage, a tornado about three miles away, rain all day in Williamsburg, 60 miles in three hours on the Interstate, and rain drops on several images (front element) creating an artistic look, but unfortunately not acceptable end result. The camera looked like it had been in the shower when I finished…… Murphy, are you listening?
Just heard on the news that a guy tried suing Wikipedia for publishing his picture without permission. The picture was taken at the zoo when a chimpanzee stole his camera and took a selfie with it - the case against Wikipedia was unsuccessful because the image wasn't taken by a human being...

They just interviewed him on radio 2. The story has changed a little now because the photographer himself was interviewed without the distortion of the media being involved. They were shots taken in the wild, and he originally set-up to take shots of them using a cable release but the monkeys got inquisitive and while playing activated the shutter button and were so interested by the sound that they activated it many times (100+).
He claims the intellectual rights are his because he set up the gear to capture the shots and when the monkeys approached his gear he enabled the shot by not chasing them off. He claims it was therefore his creativity that got the shot.
Problem comes that he is English and the Wiki person interviewed was American so there was a clash of opinion about who's law applies even though the shot wasn't taken in the USA. Obviously not US law because they only stole it!
I got the opinion that the Wiki person and her representative had an 'OMG - he's right moment' on air and a lot of hesitation and stuttering took place after that.
The photogrpher should have given the chimp a banana for taking the photos The chip would therefore become an assistant and an employee, using equipment supplied by the photographer The copyright would clearly be the photographers However the photographer would still be in trouble, for not paying a minimum wage
Using a normal, digital camera with a fairly wide-angle lens, being up close, will distort how the subject appears, stepping back can make a big difference.

That is hilarious…..thanks for the post….
I don't know which is more fun to read, the satire news articles or the comments from readers who did not realise it was a satire site.

You might have enough gear if:
1) All your credit cards are maxed out with B&H purchases
2) You're calling banks to see which has the best HELOC rate so you can buy the 800/5.6 VR
3) You need to call a remodeling contractor to house your gear
4) The significant other is complaining because there's no closet space left for his/her clothes(see 3)above)
5) You can't carry all the gear you need for a road trip in your compact car and have room left for the significant other and the kids
6) You can't carry all the gear you need for a road trip in your mid-size SUV and have room left for the significant other and the kids
7) You can't carry all the gear you need for a road trip in your full-size SUV and have room left for the significant other and the kids
8) You can't carry all the gear you need for a road trip in your full-size SUV and have room left for your suitcase
9) Your accountant advises you that you really can't write off all the gear purchases as business expenses when you work for some company by the hour
10) You browse the last 20 pages of the Fred Miranda Buy and Sell forum and can't find anything you want to buy

Pretty irresponsible of Wiki I thought.
