Been going through backlogs from a couple of years ago. Here's a quick portrait of my brother in South Korea. He was teaching English there at the time and took us around when we visited.
I dropped this one in the "rainbow" thread as well. One of the detail shots at a wedding back in January. Photographed with the 200 end of the 70-200mm VR2 at f/4.
The second most photographed lighthouse in northern New England. D800 | 17-35 | 17mm | f/11 | 1/200s | ISO 100 5-shot HDR +/-1.0, merged using Photomatix with a polarizer filter added in Color Efex
My 4th Grandson-Check those eyes out! He is a big boy already, and loves to have his picture taken.
Okay. Now, this just isn't fair. Some of the other photographers put a lot of work into getting their shots of some bird, race car or run of the mill sunset. They used all sorts of special gadgets, lighting techniques and post-processing to get it right. Then you come along, use plain old natural light, compose your shot, not too long or he might start to cry, and using nothing more than experience capture a image that just makes you want to squeeze a cheek.
And the above was said with tongue in cheek and good cheer to all the other shots on this page. No slight was intended.
