A friend of mine, Dr. Danford, getting the "lens cap" off the Three College Observatory telescope…a 10,940mm f/13.5…. a bit heavy for hand holding… LOL

Oh, yes, we have an adaptor for Nikon F bodies. And, RMP and myself were able to attach and do a fist run on using the DSLR's from the back end.

She likes to press the shutter button and she is launching at me to press it. I ordered her a toy camera. Maybe next year one that actually takes photos.

Cute kid VIP. At this age, I was taking a lot of video of my son with an older camera (this was long before DSLRs). A majority of the footage I have from that time was of him launching toward me and the camera with an outstretched hand to try and put his grimy fingers on the lens.
Last weekend, I picked up low mileage TC20 to go with my 300mm. I've only had one chance to get out, but I think it's going to work nicely.

Another of Megan. Photographing a friend is certainly a completely different experience from shooting a model.

    Tiny tiny wildflowers.

    DSC_3432

I ended up gathering a whole bunch of them and sticking it into a tiny test tube to make a small bouquet of flowers for my mother.

My thumb is there for scale.

The painting effect is due to heat waves visible when heavily cropping and not some PP filters.

more of the Edith Green-Wendel Wyatt (EGWW) building. There are vines that are growing from every side of the building. I'm sure that with some time they will cover the entire building, which will be VERY interesting to see.

Not a fan of small domestic cats, but big cats... Amazing creatures.

Cool thing about this Zoo, Kristiansand, Norway, is that all animals seems to have a lot of room, they're not stuck inside a small cage.
