Turner the Camera-dog
D7100, 18-55@ 18mm, f/3.5, 1/800 sec, ISO 100.

I was actually relieved this picture turned out with his eye/face in focus. My 18-55 mm lens which came with my D40x back in 2007 or so no longer autofocuses so I have to manually focus everything when I use it. He wasn't staying still, and this is before I got contact lenses, so my own eyes weren't at their best.

Thank you proudgeek and Squamish. I had forgotten my neutral density filter, so I had an afternoon with heavy clouds that I exploited. Shot the ISO on some photos at lo-0.7 which I had never done before. Seems to have worked out well. I will share a few others in the next several days. If you go to this park, go in April/May or October. You won't be able to use a tripod otherwise because of the visitor use level.
