Second shoot with Katrine yesterday. Shot on location first and then in my home studio (garage this time)

Got worried about the shoot as we had a power outage, due to thunder, just an hour before Katrine arrived. Rain stopped and the sun broke out at the end of the outdoor part.

I spent the night at the airport in Miami. My flight was canceled to Italy and I have to wait.

The only thing worse than trying to get out via the Miami Airport is trying to get back in. Although the Cafe Versailles makes a killer cafe Cubano.

Back to DC and the WWII Memorial. Following a suggestion of AdamZ, I did an overlay of the b&w version of this image onto the color version at an opacity of about 33% in Photoshop (Elements 11 in my case). Interesting what it does to enhance some of the textures and lines. Thanks for the suggestion, Adam!
