Teach me something if you would. I understand the desire to shoot that lens wide open in order to take full advantage of a depth of field situation. Yet in this image Lupe and the door are essentially in the same focal plane, which renders the wider aperture and DOF effects somewhat moot. Why not shoot stopped down a touch (say f/5.6) and maximize the sharpness of the lens?
