The Bell Tower of Xi'an

Built in 1384 during the Ming Dynasty, the Drum Tower in Xi'an is one of the finest of its kind.

Xi'an in of itself is a fascinating place to visit, steeped in the thousands of years of history, it served as China's imperial capital for over 2,000 years.

The City Wall of Xi'an

13.7 kilometres in circumference, the City Wall of Xi'an was built in 1370 by the Ming Dynasty. Of unfortunate note, this image was taken on a cloudless day. Visibility in Xi'an was limited to about 2 kilometres.
