I saw the lenticular clouds while out driving. Stopped at the only vantage point I had and tried to capture a quick shot. My friends thought I was nuts. Not the composition I wanted but you take what you get.

Well with the prices of the D800 dropping like crazy, I gave up on a D400.. So far I really like the D800...

D800 instead of D400… my decision as well and I am very happy. The only issue is the ISO over 3200 is a bit noisy…. of course compared to the D4.
