November in Vermont is just about the worse time to shoot. The foliage is gone, the weather is crap, and no one wants to go outside. I've spent the past several weeks rethinking older images from my library, like this one from Peru in 2010. D90 | 18-200 | 24mm | f/7.1 | 1/125s | ISO 400
Can you imagine having this as your backyard? This is the view from the balcony on the back of the Biltmore Mansion, so clearly the Vanderbilts could.

Since it's a new day, I can post another one. This one's for you Rx4Photo!

Here's what a mud volcano looks like from the outside. These are located about an hour from Baku, off an unpaved road, and were very difficult to find. The mud volcanos are caused by the natural rising of methane gas to the surface. Occasionally the methane will ignite, and the area is known as the "Land of Flame". The flame is the national symbol of Azerbiajan.

Some seriously great photos here lately. Loving the nature stuff.
I'm not sure how many of this series I'll post as some of them are quite intimate and I don't want to put their lives out there for all to see. The couple gave me permission to post whatever I want though. So here's an incoming series I did that had my nerves racking the whole time up until the shoot. I'm use to shooting women like this and I'm use to shooting couples, but in a wedding setting. So combining the two I had no clue what to do with it. Luckily I think I got some great shots for them as they were awesome.

This is the caldera of a mud volcano. The photo was taken on my recent trip to Azerbaijan.

A friend's daughter: Helena. She loves the sound of the shutter clicking.
