Humm.. turn around time is getting bigger....

maybe too many people waited 2 months before sending it to repair as it was not ¨urgent¨....
I'll wait another month then. I don't have the issue, but I don't want a problem selling it later.

    @bald_eagle - good news.
    Always learning.

Received a notification on the afternoon of March 9th that they will ship my D750 today. Scheduled delivery is Thursday, March 12th.
Checked the service follow up and it's in billing. Should be picked up tonight by UPS.

Therefore, six days from receive to shipment. No complains from me.
What makes this great is that my MB-D16 battery grip is due on Thursday, March 12th.

Will leave a follow up post on the condition of the camera and grip.

I received my D750 back from Nikon this afternoon. Here are the highlights:

Shipped to Nikon Service in NY on Friday, February 27th at 12:06pm.
Delivered to Melville, NY on Wednesday, March 4 at 8:09 am
Email received on March 4 at 11:46 am confirming delivery.
It was in shop being worked on March 5th.
Received notification on the afternoon of March 9th that they will ship that day. Scheduled delivery is Thursday, March 12th.
Checked the service follow up on March 9th and it's in billing.
My D750 was delivered as promised on March 9th.

I took a few pictures and checked all my settings. Here is what I found:
    1. No issue with the rubber grip. Nothing lose.
    2. No rub marks on the body.
    3. Total shutter activations by Nikon: 28
    4. Firmware: C: 1.01 L 2.005
    5. Yes, they did a reset on the settings. So who ever mentioned that to save your settings to a memory card before sending it to Nikon, that was an excellent idea.
    6. Camera looked like a brand new D750.
    7. Yes, there is a black dot at the bottom of the tripod socket.

The invoice Repair sheet contained this information:
    Service Repair Rank S
    Repair SC 202183

    Replace Front Body
    Replace rubber grip
    Replace Rewind side rubber
    Replace CF cardholder rubber
    Replace LCD cover
    General Check & Clean

In summary, mailed the camera on Feb 27th and received it March 12th. Total time 13 days. I am very pleased with the turnaround time and with the condition of the camera. A satisfied Nikon user.
