This is what I call a "nothing photo"......while it depicts one of the amazing views from the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic RR running between Antonito, Colorado and Chama, New Mexico, for my personal taste, I like to have people in my shots.
Here is another Heath Fritillary shot. Worth taking a moment to look at the higher res version over on Flickr. Not too shabby for a DX I think. While you're over there, I replaced the other shot with a high res version too.
Finally bit the bullet and brought home a D810. No better quality glass yet but did a single shot with a really cheap 50mm f1.8. No Post processing. The untouched is visible in Flickr and shows the background blown out of focus. Center is very sharp to my aging eyes. It was still raining lightly when taken but shutter to fast to show it.
