Nice photos everyone! Below is a portrait of a dyker, a small antelope living in Kruger National Park. I am sharing this unspiring image to demonstrate again the capabilities of the Nikon 300mm and 1.4 TC in terms of sharpness. If you look closely in the eye of the dyker you can see the van in which I am riding and its color. The eye in the uncropped version is maybe 1/100 of the area of the photo. Oh, care to tell me the color of the van?
Visited Franklin Delano Roosevelt's home today. FDR was the 32nd President of the United States and had the unfortunate honor of carrying his nation to war in 1941.
Having been in an area with no real internet....outside of Antonito, Colorado, I have now a couple of shots of the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic RR, the first as the locomotive backs into the shop for inspection...
You cannot imagine how angry they were when I climbed up on the roof of the train to shoot some of these, but I talked my way out of them "throwing mama off the train". LOL )

My first attempt at shooting fireworks. It was fun, but I have a long way to go. (Very nice shot, @Beso.)

If you look closely, the nuns look a little like ghosts. That is what happens when you do an 8 second exposure - so you can shoot at ISO 100.
