I crawled inside one of those battleship turrets once to see how sailors loaded those guns. Quite complex. Some of those guns fired 2,000 to 2,700 pound projectiles.

You can go inside one or two of them. It is a very tight fit!
I know what that smoke smells like. To me the coal fired steam tractors smelled the strongest. The image below was shot today with the Nikon 1 J5. Monet garden, Degas ballet dancers, Chinese blue/white porcelain vases, French bombe chests, a cherub and complementing wall color. What more could a person want? Shot at f4, 1/25th sec. (electronic shutter), ISO 800. Processed with Nikon's NX Studio to upscale the image. Click on the image to go to flckr and view the image at larger sizes. It is amazing to me what that 1 inch sensor in such a tiny camera can accomplish. I could print this poster size (24x36inches) and it would look fine.
Lots of hard firepower there. Each one can weigh as much as a VW beetle.
Something the opposite, flowers shot today with a Nikon 1 and 110mm lens. Make a diagonal across the image from the upper right to the lower left transitioning from the sharpness of a white flower bud to the bokeh of magenta/Barbie pink blooms.
